This website is powered by WordPress and is a “personal” website; therefore, there is limited personal information collected by and accessible to myself. For more information on what information WordPress collects and how it is used, please visit the Terms of Service for WordPress.com, the Privacy Policy for Automattic, and the Privacy Policy for WordPress.org.
Additionally, this site is not currently linked to a Google Analytics account or to any other such web analytic service. In short, no personal information or demographic statistics is being accessed by myself through any analytic service. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated.
But there are still some privacy points to discuss regarding this site so please read the following carefully! If you don’t agree with anything in the policy, please don’t use the site.
What personal data is collected and why
Name: Your name (or, at least, the name you provide) is collected when you submit a form on this site for identification and organizational purposes. Your name is then stored in the “Inbox” function of the WordPress.com admin page for this site and in your client file (this file is created only after you have officially hired myself and is intended for record-keeping and bookkeeping purposes). These client files are digital and are securely stored solely using Sync.com. For more information regarding Sync, please visit their site.
Email: Email addresses are collected when you submit a form on the site. This is done so that I am able to contact potential clients and discuss my services. Your email address is then stored in the “Inbox” function of the WordPress.com admin page for this site and in your client file (this file is created only after you have officially hired myself and is intended for record-keeping and bookkeeping purposes). These client files are digital and are securely stored solely using Sync.com. For more information regarding Sync, please visit their site.
Phone Number: Your phone number is not required when you submit a form, and is only collected when you voluntarily provide it when submitting a form on the site. If you choose to submit your phone number, it will solely be used so that I am able to reach out to you to discuss my services. Your phone number is then stored in the “Inbox” function of the WordPress.com admin page for this site and in your client file (this file is created only after you have officially hired myself and is intended for record-keeping and bookkeeping purposes). IP Address: Your IP address is collected when you submit a form on the site due to the fact that this site is hosted by WordPress and WordPress’s form function automatically collects IP Address. Since I only have a Personal WordPress plan, I am not able to install the plugins that block collection of IP addresses at this time. But I do not use your IP address for anything, and it solely stored in the “Inbox” function of the WordPress.com admin page for this site until the Inbox is cleared.
Other information may potentially be collected by WordPress, the host. For more information, please see the links provided in the Introduction section.
Payments and personal information
At the current time, I do not process payments directly through this site; there is no eCommerce feature activated for the site. (If that changes in the future, then this policy will be updated.)
Payments are accepted either digitally through third-party services or can be given by mailing physical checks. I never see your bank account or credit/debit card information and, subsequently, that information is not stored anywhere that I have access to.
If you use a third-party service to make a digital payment to myself, please check that service’s website for information regarding their privacy policy and the data that they collect about you.
Who your data is shared with

Your information is retained indefinitely. However, you may request request to receive an exported file of the personal data held about you, including any data you have provided. You can also request that any personal data be erased. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Controls for Do-Not-Track features
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized, and as such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. Should a standard for online tracking be adopted that we must follow in the future, you will be informed about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy posted to the Site.
